Over the past few years we’ve seen our fair share of blush tones and pastels when it comes to wedding décor. And while a blush wedding is still a hot trend- we’re seeing it updated to keep things glamorous and fresh. In addition to the ever-favorite blush tones, jewel tones are making their way back and greys are definitely just as popular as black when it comes to adding in the neutral. This year we’re inspired by The Black Tux to bring you some of the top color trends we are seeing for Weddings this Spring.
Many couples are wanted to give their guests the feel of entering a secret garden with use of deep jewel toned greenery and soft florals and details like lavender. Mixed textured florals really add a whimsical feel to make guests feel like they are in an enchanted Secret garden.
For invitations, adding beautiful floral, touches of metallics or event scenting in a box of lavender will add a lot of Whimsy and give guests a taste of what’s to come.
For couples that prefer a more luxury and glamorous feel they use greenery in more subtle touches in florals at the wedding and leave them off the invitations and really highlight the metallic and lavender. Adding a higher level of customization like laser cut or a silk folio.
Or even darkening the lavender to more of a violet and keeping with a black tie attire brings the garden into the ballroom.
Couples are loving pulling in the natural elements of greenery in soft olives and sage colors- to reflect the lush foliage in their wedding décor and centerpieces. Adding in touches of gold and using neutral tones and candlelight add a lot of romance. Using greys in place of black keeps with the soft romantic feel.
For invitations, keeping them soft and neutral or adding gold foil or hand drawn or painted elements really keeps things personal and luxurious.
For couples that want a little more romance, you can never go wrong with blush, champagne and greys. Add in touches of gold or rose gold adds a beautiful accent to an already beautiful palette.
